Today my family started, "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee, thanks to Libro.fm .This was the perfect way to finish off Banned Book Week. I love, "To Kill a Mockingbird". This was the first book that ever made me think. Race, class, poverty, its all there. "To Kill a Mockingbird" was very quietly taken off my children's middle school curriculum. I've been wanting to read it with them for ages. So, today we drove up into the North GA mountains while listening to a great Southern classic. Two of my kids like it. One thinks its boring. Two out of three isn't bad. This was an awesome day.
